Hi,

I have setup my account to sync with basecamp and while the comments my clients make to work seems to be syncing with basecamp effectively to store the comments and related 'markup.png' files...i am no longer receiving the auto notifications from basecamp's notifcations@companyname.projectpath.com address unless i go back into conceptshare and press the 'sync' button under the basecamp option, at which point the emails flood my inbox.

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated as this worked fine during the trial phase of testing, but since upgrading my account it has not seemed to work (maybe a coincidence...maybe not?)

When you link to BaseCamp and you upload a concept, the people checked as to be notified in the "Edit Workspace - BaseCamp" screen are added to the message notifications. We set it once, and then BaseCamp handles all notifications after that, but the user has the ability to add/remove themselves from the notifications from within BaseCamp.

Can you confirm that you are still listed to be notified on the message itself inside BaseCamp? (Load up the message in BaseCamp and on the right side are the current comment notification options).

yes we are all still listed.

I will check with BaseCamp on how their notifications work in terms of existing messages. Basically we do new posts to the message for each comment and we edit an existing post and add the replies as they come in. Perhaps BaseCamp doesn't send notifications for an updated post (since it is not new).

We have identified an issue which was preventing comments (and replies) to be posted to BaseCamp when the user making the comment was not an account administrator or account owner.

This has since been resolved. For those that were experiencing this issue or one similar, you should be able to Re-Sync (from the Edit Workspace lightbox) and all future postings should go fine.
