Hi Guys,

Any word on web galleries for the selection process? At least for what we do (creative imaging / premedia) it would be a significant addition to the ConceptShare workflow.

This is in the works. It's still in the design phase. Once we have a finalized draft I will send it to you for your own review.

Web galleries. I'm very intrigued what is this feature going to entail?

[Chris]

This is an easy/simple way to view concepts in a film strip type form.

The world we're in (still photography post-production / premedia) often requires clients to browse through hundreds of lowres images to select the 'hero' images. While ConceptShare is great for reviewing and marking up images, it is less than ideal for sifting through hundreds (perhaps thousands) of images quickly and efficiently. I have provided a link below to a sample gallery we're currently using - it lacks secure login and a feedback platform, however it is great for making picks. (Other options are typically added in for clients - e.g. file name, meta data, etc.)

I'm hoping the future of ConceptShare web galleries will allow admin users to automatically create a workspace from selected images within the web gallery!

We were also hoping for a gallery view feature as well- and we have a motion business... many times we have to deliver show packaging for instance, and it will have many elements, open, close, bumpers, lower thirds, etc- all of the same look and client. Using a different link for each one would be quite time consuming. If a project let you bring in multiple elements for review within the same link somehow, that would be more helpful. Here also is a reference for us: http://www.awesomeincorporated.com/one_nation.html

Hey, any movement on this? Our asset manager is intrigued to see if we can keep to one tool instead of bringing in another for image selection.

As stated in some other posts, there will be an announcement but this feature has been added.
