activeCollab Support 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi, I´m not quite sure if that belongs to the right section, but I was asking myself how it would look like, connecting ConceptShare with my actual Project Collaboration Tool "activeCollab". Do you know this app? If not have a look @ http://activecollab.com

Now I would like to ask if there is any possibility to integrate these 2 Apps into eatch other a little bit (like submitting tickets, and posting comments, tracking the process,...) Just for Hint: activeCollab has a API, where apps can connect on.

I imagined how it would work -without- a integration:
I could create workspaces, and invite my client. Now we can comment and review a Concept.
After that I have to go to my Collab to open a ticket with the same content as the clients comment.
This Tickets are essential for me and my organization, cause we work them down, one by one.

Instead of my, my client could make the same - but why should my client let me know one and the same things into 2 different Apps?

And now aC + ConceptShare

I create a workspace and invite my client, which I could as well simply import from activeCollab. Then he´ll viewing, commenting and reviewing the concept. If the Client wants a change he simply puts a comments and a Ticket in activeCollab will be created

So it would like that activeCollab is still the Project Management Tool, and ConceptShare is the Visual Interface.

Thats just a Idea, and I dont really know what´s possible and what´s not, but if there is a solution planned for this case, I want to know that, because I would really be interested in that.

Thanks in advance

J.

Hey Joe!

You be not already be aware that ConceptShare also has a full featured API. If you go to http://api.conceptshare.com/api/api_v2.asmx

A number of our clients are already using the API to integrate into their own software.

You may also want to check out http://www.conceptshare.com/support-forum/listcat-2 Here you will find information about the API.
