Founded in 2006, ConceptShare was created to deliver a collaboration solution engineered for the unique requirements of creative professionals.

Nish Patel

Chief Executive Officer

Nish works with the management team to establish the company’s business strategy and operating plan. He spends most of his days at ConceptShare working closely with our growing list of customers and partners; learning about their requirements and making sure that ConceptShare is delivering against them. When he is not working or thinking about ConceptShare, you will likely find Nish watching the Food Network with his Alaskan Malamute or reading an eclectic mix of books and magazines.

Bernie Aho

Chief Design Officer, Co-Founder

Bernie is the Chief Design Officer for the company and one of the co-founders of ConceptShare. With over 15 years experience conceptualizing and designing technology products, he leads the design team in shaping how our products will work and designing solutions to solve the biggest problems our customers have. His business and marketing background, entrepreneurial mindset and artistic eye are key ingredients in creating successful products that our customers love.

Bernie is rarely ever not creating something. When not working at ConceptShare or spending time with his family he is always working with various types of gadgets, digital media and inventions and is an active and internationally recognized photographer, which he says keeps his mindset fresh and relative as both a creative professional and being a power user of everything we build.

Chris D’Aoust

Chief Technical Officer, Co-Founder

As the company’s CTO, Chris is responsible for technical architecture and determining how we develop the solutions and functionality designed by our product and design teams. In addition to continuing to spend much of his day deep in code, he is leading a growing team of developers and works closely with the business development team on strategic partnerships.

A tinkerer at heart you may sometimes find Chris in his workshop building gadgets, overhauling a car engine or building a world-class mountain bike from spare parts.

Matthew Richer

Senior Developer

Matthew is an integral part of the development team at ConceptShare and focuses on the application processes, integrations, and ConceptShare back-end functionality. Responsible for ConceptShare’s API, Matthew ensures that our growing community of partners can easily and quickly extend their functionality by integrating all or parts of ConceptShare’s feature set.

When he is not stealthily coding, Matthew can be found at his Jiu-Jitsu club developing his growing arsenal of martial arts skills.

She is a firm believer that our first priority is to make sure that a customer is ready to bring ConceptShare into their organization.

Shauna Heron

UI/UX Designer

Shauna works with the design, marketing and development teams on defining, innovating and shaping the user experience and graphical interfaces for all of ConceptShare’s future products and features. She also acts as a product evangelist being a creative professional herself.

Shauna is a true geek in every sense of the word. When not spending time with her family, Shauna can usually be found behind her camera on a location shoot or on the computer researching the latest design trends or reading the latest technical manual. Her dedication to technology in all forms is truly astounding and often disturbing.

Koby Smutylo

Legal Counsel

A seasoned lawyer with experience from Bay Street to Corporate Boardrooms to Startups, Koby designs all of our legal agreements and is an active participant in negotiations with our enterprise customers and strategic partners. With his experience working across a wide range of industries and with companies of all sizes he produces agreements that are fair, balanced and that achieve natural strategic alignment between us and our customers.

After a day of reading through a mountain of legalese you can find Koby spending time with his family and thinking of new startup ideas.

Sally Boucher

Director of Finance

Sally keeps our financial house in order; from debits to credits and everything in between she makes sure that we know what is coming in and what is going out. A veteran of dozens of startups where she has provided financial advice and guidance, Sally’s impact on the company spans from financial maintenance to providing strategic direction; from making sure invoices go out on time to producing monthly and annual financial statements.

When she is not tending to the company’s finances you will find Sally managing her children with the same attention to detail and dreaming of the day that she can move back to Spain.
