On October 25th ConceptShare is kicking off the first in a series of webinars,  Outsourcing Best Practices for Game Studios. No boring slides or death by demo to sit through. These sessions are designed so that we can hear from game industry veterans living in the day-to-day outsourcing trenches. Through an interview style format we’ll learn about the tips, tricks and tools that these vets have honed through success and failure to make outsourcing work for them, their studios & their clients.

Our first session will feature:

Jon Gregerson, Director at Timbuk2 Studios. Early in his career, Jon worked on such epic games as Medal of Honor and Clive Barker’s Undying. With Jon’s leadership Timbuk2 has earned business from clients like Disney, EA, Junction Point Studios, Chrystal Dynamics, Liquid Entertainment, Big Fish Games, Marvel and others that look to Jon and his team to help meet production needs and deadlines.

Dave Prout, Lead Artist at Certain Affinity. Dave has deep game industry experience and has spent time at Electronic Arts, Spark Unlimited, Heatwave Interactive, Midway Studios and Certain Affinity. Some of the most notable games that Dave has worked on include titles such as Call of Duty and Halo. Dave is an outsourcing veteran and has lived on both sides of the fence; sometimes playing the role of hiring and managing outsourcers and sometimes playing the role of outsourcer.

I hope that you can join us to hear what Jon and Dave have to share and even contribute some of your own questions during the live Q&A portion.

You can register for the webinar at https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/536738870
